Background and Identification
Fluoroscopy is a medical imaging technique used to study moving images of the body—it’s sort of like a video X-Ray. An X-Ray beam is continuously passed through the examination site, and the images are transmitted to a monitor. This allows physicians to see movement inside the body, which they can use to diagnose conditions, track progress, and aid in surgical procedures
A C-Arm is an imaging machine used in fluoroscopy and other X-Ray procedures. It gets its name from its shape—a large arm that connects the X-Ray source with the X-Ray detector.
