CAT S48c Repair

This is a phone created by CAT, model S48c, released on November 09, 2018. The CAT S48c is designed to withstand harsh environments, so it is often used in construction and other jobs where it would be important for a phone to have strong protection. This device is a result of the partnership of CAT, the heavy equipment company, and Bullit Mobile.

Distinguishing features of the model are its compact size and tough exterior to survive construction-type environments, but it also has normal phone key functions like a headphone jack, speaker, usb port, camera, and flashlight.

The CAT S48c has an IP68 rating, which is a rating given to phones with high resistance to dust and water (can be submerged up to 4 feet of water for up to 35 minutes). It met MIL-STD-810G military standards, certifying it's high resistance to shock, vibration, dust, humidity, and extreme temperatures. The CAT S48c's display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5, a screen protector that comes with the phone, and can be operated with gloves or wet fingers.

On the back of the phone is the CAT logo that is indented into the case. Underneath the logo, there is some small text that says:
