Background
The Brother PT-D200 is the D200 model of the Brother P-Touch electronic labeling systems. The handheld label printer was released in 2012 and is still sold in stores today.
This device includes pre-designed labels to make stylish labeling easy, along with user-friendly one-touch keys. The PT-D200 also features a graphical display that allows for editing of the layout and text before printing. Currently, this device is sold all over the internet and in office supply stores like Staples, Walmart, and Office Depot.
The PT-D200 is noted for its speed along with convenient and portable features, and was awarded Editor's Choice by PC Magazine on August 15, 2012. Some downfalls to the device include the inability to print anything other than half-inch labels or specialty labels like bar codes.
Identification
The Brother PT-D200 has a square-like shape and is made of gray and white plastic with lime green buttons between the qwerty keyboard and white directional buttons. It has an LCD screen so you can see what you are typing.
You can identify your label printer by the Brother logo printed at the bottom center, and P-touch printed at the top center of the face. You can also find the model and serial numbers embossed on the back casing.
