Blackberry Bold model number can be found underneath the battery or by following these instructions:

1. Select "options" from the home screen menu.
2. Select "about" or "device", whichever appears, from this menu.
3. Select "about device versions". The model number will be shown.

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is basically a revamped version of the Blackberry Tour. Released in 2010, it more resembles the Tour in style and design than the Bold 9700 series. It includes an optical trackpad, Wi-Fi, international roaming capabilities, GPS capabilities, 512 MB of on-board memory and plenty of processing power. It has the capability to run both the OS 5.0 Software and the new OS 6.0 software.
