The ASUS X550DP Notebook is a model of laptop released by the ASUS manufacturer in 2013. One of the earliest models, the XX146H, offers a high-resolution display for media consumption, a microphone and camera for audio and video activities, and a drive for DVD viewing. Models typically come in some combination of grey and silver, with variants depending on the specifications of the model line. While the earlier XX146H model was released in 2013, the X550DP released models until the end of 2014, when it was superseded by the X555 series. While ASUS is a Taiwanese company, it ships its products worldwide.

However, X550DP models share the 15.6 inch screen, affordable median price point, and optical disk drives. The AMD processor of the mid-range X550DP is surpassed in performance by the higher Intel cores of the X555 series. Meanwhile, the X550DP's pixel yield surpasses the X450's 14-inch screen.

The ASUS X550DP is sleek in construction, with the microphone, camera, and camera light indicator aligned in a row above the 15.6 inch high-definition screen. X550DP model computers come chiefly in silver. The power button is located on the top-left corner of the bottom cover, above the Escape Key on the keyboard. Air vents are located on the left side and underside of the bottom-cover. The model number is located on a sticker to the left of the touch pad and below the keyboard, just below the Control button.
