The Alienware X15 R2 is a powerful gaming laptop that has a sleek design with premium laptop appeal and just a touch of RGB lighting. It comes with an Intel 12900H processor featuring 14-cores and 20-threads and a 5 GHz max boost clock. The laptop indeed looks thin but isn’t “light” in any way. The top-spec model, which I reviewed, weighs close to 2.36kg thanks to a set of four fans and heat pipes made from a Gallium-silicon thermal interface.
