I can't fixit
I'm extremely disappointed in the kit I had to buy nothing worked.
1st. the Kit did not have the clamp needed in the directions so I had to order that and wait.
2.With everything I fallowed the directions and can not get past the part were you have to heat the side to make it come apart. The glue will not budge so I can not fix the phone.
The kit and the clamp are a waste of money, I gave them a 1 star and Ifixit did not care. I cant do a return as I had to wait more time to get the clamp and I could not start on it as soon as I got it so i'm outside the return window.
Lesson learned just take it to a pro or buy a new one its cheerper that way.

Personally, I have no idea of your ramblings when you're assuming anyone can understand your comments. What repair kit and what are you trying to repair? Perhaps you may or may not know that diy repairs to personal phones have risks if not familiar with phone disassembly.

im a repair tech at my store. This is an issue with a surprising amount of older phones. After a decade or so, the glue that holds the screen on (which is what i assume your purchased) dries and becomes stiffer. This requires extra heat to remove as opposed to a <4 year old pixel.
when buying parts/kits on ifixit site, make sure that you look at the options. You can opt to order the full kit with the suction cup or just the replacement digitizer + screen combo independently from the rest of the kit.
