The Chrysler Crossfire is a rear-wheel drive, 2-door sports car sold by Chrysler and built by Karmann of Germany for model years 2004-2008.

Battery won't keep a charge

I can put a new battery on it and it will be fine but if I leave the car parked for awhile the battery will go dead.

@duranriley sounds like you may experience some parasitic drain. That is when something draws power form the battery after the vehicle has been turned off. Most of the time this is caused by aftermarket equipment so make sure you check on that if you have anything like that. The best way but also a very tedious way, to find a parasitic draw is by using a multimeter set to measure DC amperage ( setting) in series with the disconnected negative battery cable.

That means you will need to disconnect the negative wire from our battery. Connect the multimeter with one probe on the disconnected cable and the other on the battery post itself. With the car asleep (doors locked, ~45 mins), look for draws. Anything over 50mA is to be considered a parasitic draw. If you have a parasitic draw, you will need to pull one fuse at a time. once you've pulled the fuse check the meter. If no change, replace the fuse and pull the next one. One you have a drop in the amperage drawn on your meter you will need to check the circuit where the fuse belongs to.

Since you did not tell us what year and exact model your Crossfire is, we can't really help you with the diagrams. You can check this online service manual for the diagrams on a 2004 3.2L model. You can also get the'04 and the '05 service manuals from under the Documents tab on this page Chrysler Crossfire The SM have most of the wiring diagrams included

Check something like this video for some more visual instructions on the parasitic draw.

Word of caution. If your radio etc. needs a code to reboot when the power is lost, write the codes down :-)
