My phone won't react whenever I use it

My old phone used to work despite having damage to its lcd. The damage isn't all that bad, it's probably controlled since the broken lcd is on the edges of the phone. But just recently it stopped responding or reacting to my touch

There's a good chance your touch screen has finally died, probably due to the damage to the screen. It doesn't take much; there are delicate connections between the glass and the flex cable that are all too easy to break, and once that happens the only fix is to replace the screen.

Assuming you've already rebooted the phone and tried safe mode (for an Android phone, that is), then you'll probably have to install a new display.

Given that you haven't told us what kind of phone you have, that's about all we can tell you at this point; if we knew what model and brand it is we should be able to point you to repair guides showing you how to do that replacement.
