@jashpalgami there is always the possibility that his is a bad camera. It is also possible that this is a software issue. Start your phone in safe mode and see if you camera works in that mode. If so you know that you have a 3rd party App that interferes with your camera. You would have to uninstall those Apps.

To put your phone in safe mode, press and hold the power button, then press and hold "Power off" on the screen until the "Reboot to Safe Mode" option appears. To exit safe mode, simply restart the phone normally

Since this is an issue with not just the camera but the Flashlight option as well, it is possible that this is a firmware issue. You do want to try a factory reset. Remember that a factory reset will delete all of your files. Make sure that you back those files up first. Yo u will also need to have the email and password that was used when the phone was originally setup. If you do not have that, you will have trouble accessing you phone later.

Since you can still have access your phone, I would do a factory reset from the Settings Menu

• Open the Settings app.
• Go to About phone.
• Select Factory reset or tap on the search icon and type "factory reset" to find the option.
• Tap Erase all data (or "Factory reset") and follow the on-screen prompts, which will include entering your password or PIN to confirm.

If none of this works and your camera/flashlight consider replacing the flashlight sensor flex cable and check the main board for other issues as well. There is a possibility that this could also be related to the ROM software and reflashing it may resolve this. Since iFixit does not really deal with firmware, software and flashing ROM, check the forums that do. Something like this should work for that,

The reason why this is a bit more complex is simply because of the flashlight option being disabled and the camera not working. You have to rule out software and hardware, but in this case hardware seems to be the less likely cause.
