Why won't my drive spin?
Some time back, can't remember how long ago, my disk drive just stopped spinning disks. It takes them, it ejects them, it just doesn't do anything else. I've opened up the drive and the Xbox 3 times. I've cleaned the lens, I've checked for debris, I've checked to see if there was some kind of damage, nothing has worked. Do I just need to take it to a shop? Here's the rub there, how do I know they'll have the Series X disk drive and not the One X's drive? They sit different in the case and id assume they have some kind of processing difference. Do I send it into Microsoft for the $300? Genuinely !#^&@@ off beyond comprehension because there were no warning signs, it just died.
