My phone is locked and won't open

I bought a new phone and tried to transfer all my old files from the old phone to the new one using the app Smart Switch, but I couldn't transfer my files, so I repeated the process several times until the phone was automatically locked and a password was set, even though I had never set one before. So I tried to unlock the phone using my laptop but airplane mode was activated.
