MS Laptop 5 doesn't Power up

Bought a Surface Laptop 5 13.5 last year in Sandstone colour, and was in a backpack with a water bottle (you can guess what happened ;(

MS Canada just returned it...no explanation, no suggestions, just returned it when I sent it in for service under warranty.

Doesn't boot, tried Power button and F4 for 20 seconds, tried to let the battery drain, still nothing...been a year and the poor device is still sitting here collecting dust, tempting me to try and fix one last time.

is it salvageable or just good for parts?

Anyone in the Fraser Valley / Vancouver area fix these ?
