Repair guides, disassembly, and troubleshooting information for the first generation Sony PlayStation 5 DualSense controller, successor to the DualShock series. Identified by model number CFI-ZCT1W and motherboard model BDM-010.

I connected my Dualsense's PCB to my PC.

So I'm currently working on my Dualsense to fix my drift issue and install hall effect joysticks, but I got a warning to not plug in the board into a computer without a battery or else it'll be bricked? I connected it before the warning was told and I only saw it blink twice.

Am I cooked or should I be fine?

Hi!

Usually it's fine, but it's not recommended to connect it to a device/charger without a battery.

Motherboard should be able to handle it.

But, if you are not sure, then connect the battery to it again and test it.
