Repair and disassembly information for Sony WH-1000XM3 wireless noise-cancelling over-ear headphones.

Headset won't charge or turn on

I dropped my headphones and broke the headband on the right earcup. Was able to to reassemble the head band and the headset worked for a while but now it won't turn on or charge anymore. The wire in the headset is kinked but I'm not sure if that's the cause

That is quite normal for those wired to be kinked a little. I believe it could be that your battery connection got dislodged or other components of the motherboard in the cups broke off. Do you have a photo of the disassembled earcups?

It was actually some wires touching in the left ear cup. Found a a guide that fixed it
