Mousewheel rattles, don't want to do a teardown

I've been using this mouse for about 2 years at my workstation M-F, 8 hours a day. Overall it's great. Recently, the scroll wheel has started to rattle a bit when I spin it quickly to zoom on maps or drafting software. Any suggestions for how to mitigate or solve this issue without having to open up the whole assembly? It looks like the scroll wheel is one of the last components accessible in the teardown. Maybe a bit of isopropyl or a bearing degreaser?

If it's rattling, there's either a loose screw or some broken plastic. Not much you'll be able to deduce or resolve without cracking it open. It's not too bad of tear-down, considering there's no glue involved, and the clips are measly.
