Recently obrained FX-3 Super 2000 -advance lever won't spring back

Recently obtained an otherwise seeming excellent to mint Yashica FX-3 Super 2000. All shutter speeds seem accurate (to my ear anyway) Body in fine condition. BUT the advance lever --while it does cock the shutter -- stays in the open position--I have to manually click it back in place to release the shutter. Not a camera workman/repairman. Is there a fairly uncomplicated "fix?" Again--the camera does advance film and the shutter fires, but I have to flip the advance lever back into position manually.
