Loud audio hum is generally associated with bad power filter caps or ground loops.
For the TV, unplug everything except power. Do you still have hum?
If so, open it up and check your capacitors.
That could also cause picture issues.
If not, reverse the power plug on the device producing the hum.
If it can't be reversed (polarized) check its capacitors or miss wired power.
