What is the type of SSD in the MacBook Air (A1370)?

I would like to know the exact type of SSD in the MacBook Air Late 2010 Model. Does it use mini pci-e or msata?

Extra question: Does anyone know of the cheapest solution the read the data from the SSD by using normal desktop? (i.e. where to buy the adapter needed for this?)

I thought the A1370 was the 11" and A1369 the 13"? Anyway the SSD drive uses a custom Apple mSATA connector.

If you want to connect the drive externally you could use something like this:

i got a miniSata adapter and it didnt line up at all, neither the width nor the position of the notch. anybody know whats going on? is it proprietary or not?

really dont want to get a special board just to read the data of the ssd.

@kugelzucker - You need the custom Apple mSATA blade SSD. An M.2 SSD won't work in your system.
