LG WM2250CW cold water won't stop filling.
Our LG WM2250CW washer has an issue where when we use any cycle that uses the cold water the cold water will keep filling, usually filling up to over halfway up the door. Sometimes it will cause an FE error, but sometimes it ends up skipping time in the wash cycle and moving on to the rinse cycle. The rinse and spin cycle will also keep filing with cold water at the same time it is trying to drain out. It will do this for awhile in the spin cycle until the cold water finally shuts off. We have had a couple times when the water would not shut off even if we paused the cycle or turned the power off, we had to shut the water off at the supply. When we run a purely hot water cycle the hot water seems to cycle correctly, but when it gets to the rinse and spin it will again keep filling cold water at the same time it is draining for an extended time. The FE error led me to replace the fill level pressure switch, which did not fix anything. I have also cleaned the water inlet screens and checked those valves for continuity and they seem fine. Does this seem like a control board issue? It seems like it can control the cold water inlet valves but it is not shutting them off correctly. Thanks for the help.
