@bey63521 there are lots of reason why this could be. Check the switch and the power cable. Make sure those are working and that the cable shows continuity. Next check the motor. Make sure that you have continuity between the switch and the motor with the trigger switch pulled.

Next, you will need to see if the motor still turns or if it is seized. Can you easily move the blade by hand? Next, check the carbon brushes, make sure those are in good working order.

So, as you can see, lots of things to check. For all of those tests, you do have to unplug the power cable from the outlet.

If you are having issues with checking any of this, let us know. We can probably guide you a bit better but we have to see what you have going on there. Be ready to take some good pictures and get a multimeter so we can have you do some checks.
