Why won't my iPhone X charge?
I have had this phone for about 4 years now. It stopped charging at the beginning of last year. I have tried multiple chargers on this phone to make sure it wasn't just the charger. About 2 months after this I ended up sending it out to a person who would look at it and "see what was wrong". He claimed nothing was wrong with it and (i was a minor at this time) my parental figure had to get involved. This guy ended up just replacing the battery with a brand new one and sending it back. It turned out it was not the battery. It still would not charge at all. I've been looking into maybe trying to see if it's the charging port, but I'm unsure. Its so expensive as well and I'm too scared that I'll mess up the phone if I do it myself. I have no experience with repairing phones.

Have you tried using different charging bricks as well as wires? Are you able to try using your chargers with someone else's phone to rule it out? Also if possible try seeing if your phone can still wirelessly charge. If it can, then theres probably something wrong with the charging port. Maybe it's dirty. If it is, you can try gently cleaning it with a soft tooth brush. If you see bigger chunks inside, maybe try using a toothpick and gently cleaning out the gunk. Try pointing a desk lamp or flash light towards the inside of the port to see it clearly.
