My MBP's video is not good. it keeps freezing up

When it freezes up, I have to restart it. Then it freezes up again. I think it's a problem with the GPU. How should I fix it?

In the day these where great systems! Sadly you face the issue of finding parts and the cost factor makes it a hard pill to swallow. A freezing image can be the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M chip and/or its video memory. It can also be RAM or HDD. Running the diagnostics from the original OS CD disc might help isolate where the issue is.

These old units struggle to play any decent quality video nowadays right?

Even a 2010 MB Air cannot even do a decent messenger or zoom video meeting..... one for the museum.
