@fred25532 give us the exact make and nodel for your DVD player. This could be as simple as a fuse to as complicated as a burned out circuit board.

That's the problem it has no name it has a DVD on it and a small word on it saying PDVD-22 please help

@cyberkeys interesting. Nothing surprise me with Toshiba. An absolutely terrible company all the way around. Anyhow, let's see if we can figure this out. Take a couple of good pictures of your DVD player. the sides as well as the bottom. Let's see what they build here. Adding images to an existing question
