Ds doesn't turn on but bottom screen flashes white!

So a few days ago my DS was sitting on my bedside table which is 50cm from the floor, it was charging and my clumsy self tripped over the charger cable and the DS fell to the ground

The next day I went onto the DS I tried to turn it on, the blue light appeared and then suddenly it makes pop sound and the bottom white screen flashed and then it turned off.

Can anyone tell me what to do? I've heard it may be a problem with the ribbon cable but I'm not sure, I'd appreciate any kind of help 😊

That pop sound is usually from a damaged or unseated cable. It could be any of the connectors on the board, but usually its the display. You can try opening it up to check the connections, but if those connections are good, then it could be damaged displays which can also cause popping.

I would also double check that the unit can charge (Shows charging light) and that the connector on the board is solid.
