Cannot regulate the heat
Whirlpool Model ACE244XSO The heat will vary 10+ degrees------ up and down without moving the thermostat setting. Probably the thermostat but I haven't found one for it.

There are two thermostats in the air con unit, Item #10 and #31 airflow and control parts diagram
Temperature control thermostat Item #10 is part # WP1185753 (supplier examples only).
Item #31 is part # 4388458 but I can't find any online. This one looks more like a safety cutout thermostat for the heater given its location, rather than a room temp control thermostat like Item #10. If you suspect it is the problem, check if there's a different part number on it or a make and model number and search online using that information
