iPhone 12 Pro restarting everytime it's left to go to sleep
I have an iPhone 12 Pro that I’ve had since release (2.5 years) and it’s off AppleCare unfortunately. It’s been crashing when idle, to prevent it from crashing I have to have music playing constantly. When it does crash it will be bricked for anywhere from 5 mins to two hours. Sometimes forced reset works sometimes it doesn’t. Tried a restore, tried a DFU restore, reset up iPhone from scratch. Apple Store told me to pay $600 CAD for a back unit replacement but they weren’t 100% that that would fix it. I removed the sim and went e-sim and that fixed it for about 45 minutes before it started again.

I’m in Canada so if anyone knows Canadian consumer law I’d love to write a letter

Write a letter? To who? If it's never had one I'd try a new battery.
