NVRAM Won't Reset

Hey guys, my MacBook is acting weird.

I can't reset the NVRAM. But I can reset the SMC, choose a startup device when holding OPT, eject the optical drive by pressing the eject key, and enter safe mode when booting. The only thing it won't do is reset the NVRAM. I checked in the OS, and all of the keys work fine.

If I hold the four keys at startup, the mac keeps booting like I was never holding the keys at all.

Any suggestions?

Guys, I went to Apple.com to check it out, and I found that I can't reset the NVRAM with a firmware password. So, I figured out what to do. Thanks anyway
