Doesn't turn on after being dropped

Hi, so my friend asked me to look at this phone after he dropped it. Phone doesn't show any signs of life, screen is barely cracked. Computer doesn't see it too, after being on a charge for a while, it doesn't even vibrate. I took it apart and visually there's nothing wrong with it. Only that the heatsink under the SoC has a small indentation, so I'm guessing something might have shorted under there and that's what is causing the problem?
