1 Running like over a 100 miles an hour, It has sped up and I don't know
The sander is on overdrive it has sped up and will not quit it won't even hold a pad on it because it's going so fast.

I have the same problem, but I have not found a solution yet. My Ryobi orbital is stuck in high gear and won't slow down. There has to be a reason.
