The Meta Quest 2 (formerly Oculus Quest 2) was released in October 2020 and is the successor to the Oculus Quest.

Dropped my quest 2 and screen's glitched.

Dropped my headset and i put it back on to see if it was broken. The games and sensing work just fine but the screen is really glitchy and has black spots everywhere.

something is probably wrong with either the lenses or the lcd.

Would a factory reset do anything

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

it wouldn't hurt trying and might help glitching- but i think its more than likely that the sheer impact would cause the issues.

Ok thanks, also if it doesn’t do anything how long u think it’ll take until the quest 2 completely burns up

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

years or months. unless your saying that the spots are getting bigger or its glitching more. otherwise if u keep liquids away from it and don't drop it or anything, it should be okayish. i would expect gameplay to be affected and lag. but, im not a expert on vr headsets and im maybe wrong about how long it would take to burn out
