JBL Flip 5 mount for cable broke. Is this a hopeless case?

This is actually a JBL Flip 5 question. The clip that holds the cable broke. Is this a hopeless case? Is there a way to replace it by detaching the rubber part that the clip seems to be a part of and only replacing that part?

I have the same speaker 🔊 that’s cool but if the clip broke it might still go together but if not the only solution is to glue it

I can just glue the cable to the part without the shell? Sorry, I have never fixed electronics before. Really appreciate you taking the time to give guidance.
