Thin Vertical Line Down Screen;

Good afternoon, my three year old daughter put some wax on the screen and I had to clean it off. I applied a small amount of pressure and shortly thereafter, this showed up. Anything I can do?

Shane Cutler that looks like a TAB error. The bonding of the very thin ribbon cable entering the LCD panel may have come off, corroded or broke. You will have to remove the back cover and make out the TAB, the apply some pressure to the thin ribbon cable at exactly the point where the lines appears. If that changes the line then it is a TAB error. Most of those cannot be repaired but require replacement. Sometimes the application of a piece of strong tape applies enough pressure to create the connection but this may only be temporary.

The attached images are just an example of what to look for.
