Spacebar Wasn't Working: Then I dislodged this rubber nipple

My spacebar was sticking and not really working on my Macbook Air. Like an idiot, I slid a piece of a stickynote under there to see if I could clean out the dust. In doing so, amazingly, I managed to dislodge this little rubber nipple. It just slid right to the side of the key and then almost out from under the key. Since it was clearly already dislodged, I just pulled it the rest of the way out. They spacebar key itself is still in place, but now it stays down and won't raise back up. I assume raising it back up was the purpose of this little rubber piece.

I'm trying to avoid a $500 full keyboard repair. The little rubber piece is still intact and undamaged. Anyway I can fix this myself?

Iv seen this happen before on its own

And there’s a fairly easy fix that I have found to work

If you get loctite superglue (gel) and carefully apply it along the bottom of the silicon button that fell off(not too much) and sit it where it originally went ,then leave it to set for the recommended time it should work fine again

Hello! Thank you so much for the answer and help. I am from the USA, a Link would be so helpful! Do you know of any good guides on how to get the spacebar off? I assume I'll have to remove it to put this little piece of rubber back in place. Right now, the spacebar is still securely on, it just won't raise up. Again, thank you so much!
