That's unfortunate and am very sorry to hear that. I actually use an iphone 8 as my daily :).
I suggest googling first. This is a great step as it can come up with some results that might surprise you.
- Did this iphone ever come into contact w water?
- Are you sure the screen didn't break?
- Did you try DFU mode? It's probably a good idea to do so.
- If you had an apple watch paired to this phone, did it show the phone was connected whilst it wasn't responding?
If the answer to 4 is yes, your screen is kaput
If the answer to 3 and 4 is yes, Screen/mobo is kaput
If the answer to 2,3 and 4 is yes, ummmmm...Bad graphics chip(? someone help me out)
If the answer to all of the above is yes then there is for sure bad component(s) on that board.
