Released in July 2018, the 15" MacBook Pro, model A1990, features a 15.4 inch LED-Backlight display with True Tone technology, TouchID, and up to 6 Core i9 Processor.

Can I swap the top case assembly (keyboard, battery) from other mac?

I have a replacement top case containing keyboard, battery, speakers, trackpad, touch bar, is it possible to do a swap on a 2018 macbook pro 15 inch with T2 security chip? I will move the screen, motherboard and touch id together.

I am scared the T2 will lock the machine.

Any ideas? thanks

So in truth you are swapping just the uppercase which has the keyboard and battery. If that's the case installing your logic board and Power button (TouchID) and the display will work as long as the two systems are in the same series. In your case both need to be 2018 15" MacBook Pro's, either MacBookPro15,1 or MacBookPro15,3. To double check I would plug-in the systems S/N's here: EveryMac - Lookup
