Why isn't the power button working?

So recently I took apart my iPod Touch to replace the battery, which I did successfully and it works, but when I was replacing it and took out the motherboard because I thought that I had to. Now the connector is loose to the board, and when I manage to get it to stay in it is still loose. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi

My first (major)repair was one of these and I had this exact issue because it’s really annoying to blindly get connectors connected from behind

I find I you get the cable and remove the little bit of silver/grey tape fabrics stuff and extend the cable until it’s straight

Before you do that you need to get the logic/motherboard out and you can kind of flip it and connect it fairly easily

It’s a bit bad to explain but if you need any help just ask me in the comments and I can help you at every step of the way:-)

Hopefully this helps

Thanks:-)
