My wifi button is on, the wifi adapter is enabled, and the software is updated but it does not show wifi connections. The Ethernet cable is working, solution, please?

What is the make and model number of the laptop, if not as shown above?
Does it show your network when placed as close as possible to the WiFi router i.e. <10 cm?

Does this wifi adapter show up in device manager? if yes then there is possibility that one or both or there is only one antenna got disconnected or wire broke. If there is no in device manager then check bios, there might be option to turn it off or adapter itself broke
