Wake from sleep on battery prompts connect to charger even if full

Hi. If someone can help me on this, it would be much appreciated.

I changed my battery in my Macbook Pro 15" mid 2015 few months ago, and now sometimes (not always, but more and more frequently), when I wake up my macbook pro from sleep on battery, it prompts the connect to charger screen, which I do and then the computer can wake up from sleep, but the battery is already at 100%. This is highly unconvient because I always need a power plug in order to start my macbook pro... even if the battery is full. I tried resetting the SMC several times, didn't solve the issue.

Any help on this ?
