Won't power up after USB cleaned

Usb nearest the screen stopped charging, they wanted 1000kr to put a new one in, said it was discoloured so probably spillage.

I took it out cleaned is as best vi could and replaced, now laptop won't start, any ideas?

I would just replace it MacBook Air 13" (Late 2018-Late 2020) Display Cable
