@mphephu that most likely means your backlight has failed. You can replace it by disassembling your the LCD panel. Be careful with the sheets between the panel and the backlight strips. Make sure that you keep those the same way they are. If you give us the exact model number for your TV we can probably help you further

55" sansui smart tv.

@garyjohnlakey you need to add a model number? what is wrong with your TV? Be descriptive :-)
I’m also experiencing the same issue, mine turns on, there’s a faint picture on the screen when a flashlight is used, I mistakenly burned one of the led’s during testing so I replaced all of them and checked the led power cables for continuity, all is fine now on the led’s and it’s power cable. The first time I turned it on to test the backlights they went on faintly so and started to gradually lose power in seconds. Then when I test the LED power output on the board it starts high just above 100V and start dropping power to under 1V. Even when the LED’s are connected.
@leonterape what exact model is your TV? !00V sounds low to begin with. What voltage do you get when the backlight array is disconnected? You did for VDC with your meter correct? Do you have a model number board number for your power supply? Does your TV use a LED driver board or do the LED strips connect directly to the power board?
