Touch ID not working after screen replacement

I have an iPhone 6S with a broken screen. I recently ordered a new screen for it and installer everything today. I transferred the original shield, camera module and home button from the original screen since they worked. After installing the new screen, everything seems to work absolutely fine except dor the fact that Touch ID won’t work. The home button still registers clicks, but the Touch ID feature doesn’t work at all. I tried moving the home button to the old screen again, and then it was working like normal so I know the home button is fine. How do I fix this?

Sounds like the home button flex is faulty. You will need to return the screen and get a replacement as the flex is integrated into the screen.
