iPhone XS Max hard reset when playing audio over loudspeaker

Just got done refurbishing this iPhone XS max, with a used good OEM Apple Screen and a chassis replacement to fix the cracked back glass. After transplanting all the parts and getting everything all sealed, up I start testing all the functions to make sure it works and the anytime I play any audio at all over 80% volume the phone hard resets and completely reboots. I have no idea where to even begin troubleshooting an issue like this. Any ideas? Also a Compass doesn’t work

You have a good battery in your iPhone XS Max? Does this also happen when for example you put volume of YouTube more than 80%?

Battery health is at 87%. Less than ideal but I’ve also ran stress test and record video with flashlight on. I’ve played some intense games on it at max brightness and let the phone warm up and suck down as much power as possible and The only time it will reset is if the speaker plays anything loud. If I record a video and do not talk loud I can play the video at max volume no problem. @Leslie Leslie

Hello Levi,

It looks like a south amp glitch (assuming the loudspeaker wasn't damaged). Make a test - take the main speaker out of the housing and test as before. If the reboots repeat - go deeper - disconnect the DOCK tape. Do the test again. You may have damaged the DOCK tape while replacing the case glass. The last tip will be to check the entire logic line of the main and auxiliary amplifiers on the motherboard. If you do not deal with microelectonics - send the mainboard to a selected workshop. Order a south amplifier replacement service or a complete motherboard repair (it's up to you). This is not a difficult repair and shouldn't be expensive. Avoid hustlers, they can ruin your motherboard.
