Is it IC or display problem

I accidently dropped my phone with screen facing down. After the drop the screen has green dots in it but it slowly turning to black. However the phone is still on and can recieve notification and has some light in it so it’s not completely black screen and when i press on and off repeatedly there are short vertical light that slowly dissepearing in the top. What i worried is if its a IC problem. Do you think its only screen problem?

i cant, the day when my phone broke was on ceremonial day and most of the shops are closed. I went yesterday and had it checked up fortunately only the lcd and touchscreen that are damaged

maybe between display IC and screen problem has different symptoms?, that's why I asked this forum to ease my mind since at that day my phone broke all the shops were closed. Nevertheless, its already fixed.
