It is always helpful to explain clearly exactly what you actually did and how you did it.

For example, were you trying to install Linux from within Windows???

Did you back up your data files, etc.?

Do you want to get Windows running again? If so the first thing you can try is booting into the Windows recovery environment, if possible, and then performing a start-up repair. To access the recovery environment, turn your computer on and off three times.  While booting, make sure you turn off the computer when you see the Windows logo. After the third time, Windows 10 will boot into diagnostics mode. Click Advanced options when the recovery screen appears.

Click Troubleshoot.

 Click Advanced options.

 Then, click Start-up Repair

If this is not the case then just make a Kali Linux bootable USB drive and do a clean install of Linux.

Here is a link to the manual for the Gateway series. It may help you:

https://global-download.gateway.com/GDFi...

On the underside there may be a battery reset hole on the underside. see page 13. Unplug the charger and press a paper clip through the hole. Now try turning on the computer. Anything? Do LED’s come on or anything on the screen?

Have you tried pressing F2 key while powering up?

@Aditya B R

What happened when you pressed and held F2 key?

Have you tried booting up Kali Linux from a USB flash drive?

Is the charger plugged in when you power up?

Have you tried this? On the underside there may be a battery reset hole on the underside. See page 13 of manual mentioned above. Unplug the charger and press a paper clip through the hole. Now try turning on the computer. Anything? Do LED’s come on or anything on the screen?
