Nope and ifixit was no help so I uninstalled it and returned it, I bought a used a stock screen from powerbookmedic.com that worked flawlessly. It seems the Chinese reproduction of these screens don’t have the same features, I wen through 2 different ones including the ifixit one before having the powebookmedic used genuine apple one work.

I would not recommend buying a screen from ifixit if you want all the functionality

@aspenrider & @yas_surfer - The issue is Virgin Vs Used!

A Virgin display (fresh off the assembly line) REQUIRES calibration for TrueTone to work which impacts both brightness and camera use. Only Apple has the needed tool to do this.

In the case of a recycled display as it was working the calibration has been performed and is held in the displays EEROM.

Sadly, this is Apples idea to prevent people from repairing their own systems as well as independent shops. Don't blame iFixit! Support the Right to Repair!!!

I'm suspecting iFixit got scammed! Someone swapped parts on them! They got a new display it didn't work and they then got a used one from iFixit as it worked they shipped back the virgin display which ended back in the available parts and you got it!

Also you mis-marked your system info as the issue you are facing is a 2018 and newer issue not the older 2016/17 model. I've switched out these screens without any issues. I've corrected your model info.
