Hi,
Have you tried a different, known working, compatible charger or connected the phone to a computer and checked if the phone started to charge?
Have you tried a different compatible charging cable and checked if it charged OK?
If neither of the above suggestions resolve the problem, return the phone to where you purchased it from and ask for a refund or replacement. Remember to take proof of purchase with you.
