I bought new trackpad but it causes extreme kernel_task CPU usage.

Hello all,

I spilled water on my macbook pro and trackpad lost force function. After that, I bought new trackpad from here and when I mount the new trackpad, it works well with force function but kernel_task causes extremely high CPU usage( generally 340%) and macbook works very slowly. When I mount the old one CPU usage goes lower down.

I am open to your help and suggestions. Thank you

I would run the onboard diagnostics to see what errors pop and likely will need to run a good thermal monitoring app like TG Pro

Restart your system and press the D key to enter

I'm suspecting you have a deeper issue within your SMC circuit.
