Use a strong light and a magnifying glass and visually check if the HDMI port has been damaged e.g. bent or broken pins etc

If it is damaged then the laptop will have to be opened so that it can be replaced.

If it appears to be OK then the laptop will still have to be opened to check if the port is loose from the systemboard or if that is also OK then further testing will be required to ascertain what the problem is.

I’m not sure with your model but on some there is a smd type (surface mounted device) fuse that feeds power to the port so if yours is the same it may be worth checking if it is OK. Usually it is mounted near to the port itself.

Here’s the service manual for the laptop. Go to p.51 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the systemboard.

This is required if the port is damaged or if it is loose and has to be resoldered onto the board. You will need smd soldering tools and expertise to do the repair. There are videos on YouTube that show how to do smd soldering, although HDMI ports are more difficult than simple USB 2.0 ports. You may need to practice first ;-)
