I killed my Tablet & can not turn it on, can I still retrieve data fil

I killed my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016. I cannot turn it on even though it is fully charged. I didn't realize it had fallen under my recliner & so when I put the recliner back it was pressing down on the tablet & I didn't realize it till the next day. So basically it was crushed although it didn't break the screen. Can I still retrieve the data files i have on it, somehow?
